               E-Learning - An Effective Strategy

Today’s quality professionals bear little resemblance to their turn of the century predecessors. They are managers, not inspectors; planners, not controllers; sensitive to markets as well as to manufacturing. Quality assurance (QA) is the activity of providing evidence needed to establish confidence among all concerned, that quality-related activities are being performed effectively. All those planned or systematic actions necessary to provide adequate confidence that a product or service will satisfy given requirements for quality. QA assures the existence and effectiveness of procedures that attempt to make sure - in advance - that the expected levels of quality will be reached.

The key to understanding quality assurance is understanding the emphasis on process. Quality Control focuses on what comes out of the creation process (creation, development, publication). Quality Assurance focuses on what goes into the creation process as well as on the process itself with the goal of improving the quality of output by improving everything "downstream".

               Quality Policy

To set the highest commitment and dedication, in providing best quality services at the most competitive cost to our customers, through sustained improvement in processes and technology, thereby exceeding our customers expectations.

               History

PDCA was made popular by Dr. W. Edwards Deming, who is considered by many to be the father of modern quality control; however it was always referred to by him as the "Shewhart cycle." Later in Deming's career, he modified PDCA to "Plan, Do, Study, Act" (PDSA) so as to better describe his recommendations. The concept of PDCA comes out of the Scientific Method, as developed from the work of Francis Bacon (Novum Organum, 1620).

               Tenable Quality Assurance Objectives

Tenable’s quality approach places an emphasis on three aspects:-

1.Infrastructure (as it enhances or limits functionality)

2.Elements such as controls, job management, adequate processes, performance and integrity criteria and identification of records.

3.Competence such as knowledge, skills, experience, qualifications.
               Tenable's Core Values

We believe in quality education

The use of e-Learning tools cannot be separated from quality training practice. We apply e-Learning in the context of a sound understanding of learning processes, supporting subject matter experts in the creation and integration of e-Learning tools.
